Still looking for these darn check valves things.
Winnebago says all dealers have them - HAH.
i just get questions like is it inner thread or outer thread male to female etc
what are these things!
all i know is that they seem to be the likely candidates for all this noise.
thanks all

RE: faucet noise

check valve.
on the back of the water heater where the hot pipe i assume comes out there is a brass coupling? i don't see arrows on it. is this a likely place for a check valve?
thanks all - this noise is a real pest!

Ford Engine coolant

Last dec we drove from canada 1500 miles to Santee CA.
I vaguely remember checking the coolant after we got here.
but now the reservoir is nearly empty.
We have had some 95 temperatures - does this stuff evaporate?
some time back we had some of those tacky ford hose clamps replaced with the screw type - not all.
motorcraft premium gold engine coolant in the 2006 V10 engine.

RE: air intake

Link
A little plastic and tape/staples would seal it, it's just a small piece.
now we need tiny people to go in there and do it!
thanks all

air intake

in a house the heating ducting is metal.
on our RV the bathroom air return come through the wall from under the sin/water heater area where there is loose yellow fibreglass insulation.
is this healthy? should we fix anything - re insulation entering the air?
let me know if the link works.

hot water heater plug

We flushed out the water heater.
the heater was cold at the time.
put the nylon? plug back in snug but not overley tight.
just a tiny dribble from the plug when the tank warmed up.
When i went to tighten up the plug it went for several turns.
am i doing something wrong here?
